I am pleased to announce the nomination of Pierre Hamel as General Manager of the Quebec Drug Insurance Pooling Corporation.
Pierre Hamel is graduated from Laval University in actuarial science (B.Sc.), he is also Associate of the Society of Actuaries (ASA), Member of the Canadian Institute of Actuaries (ACIA) and Certified Director (ICD.D).
Throughout his career he has worked for financial groups in insurance, reinsurance and investments. Mr. Hamel also acts as director of many organizations. He is now Member of the Board of Universitas Financial, OACIQ and Ordre des infirmières et infirmiers du Québec.
On behalf of Members of Board, I congratulate Pierre for his nomination and wish him all the best in this new challenge.
I also wish to thank Mrs. Claude Di Stasio for all her hard work throughout the past 20 years as General Manager. Since the foundation of the Corporation, Mrs Di Stasio has always managed with rigour and professionnalism. Her fingerprints will definitely remain in the history of the Corporation. We wish her a nice and long retirement.
